Dear Parents,

 

The teachers and I are looking forward to seeing your children on September 7, 2010 the first day of school. The custodial staff has worked hard this summer cleaning furniture and doing some upgrades within the building. We have had 10 rooms on the fifth grade floor painted with new lighting and ceiling tiles put in. This work has created a much brighter look to the classrooms.

Teachers have been coming in getting their rooms prepared for your children and feeling the excitement that we all share at the beginning of a new school year. We are looking forward to seeing your children and expect that this will be a great year of growth for them.

We appreciate that you will share your children with us and it is our hope that we will make use of that trust to provide a strong education for them. I look forward to seeing you all, some new, as well as some old friends.

May the few remaining days of summer be healthy and safe for you and your children.
